Carrie Ruth Snyder has been my best friend since sophomore year. We knew each other in junior high, but hung out with different groups of people. Once we got to North, though, everything changed . . .
Carrie and I had German class together which is where we first started doing "fun" stuff. I will never forget the time we were learning about clothes and had to color clothes for paper dolls--it was the first stupid thing we ever did together. Carrie and I thought it would be hailarious to color the clothes outrageously, and proceeded to do so.
The day we had to present our paper dolls to the class, predictably, I was absent. This was the start of a recurring situation where Carrie and I would start something we thought was funny and then it would end up more funny for us by it never working out just the way we planned. For example, here we thought the class would appreciate our deviation from the norm, but since it was just shy little Carrie showing the class our man's rainbow suit, it just didn't quite work the way we had anticipated. Oops!
Since then Care and I have gone on to do countless stupid things . . . the most stupid of them all (we decided one night) was the poster we tried to make of emotions . . . yeah, just ask Carrie about it and her face will turn beet red. That was just dumb.
Anyway, Carrie is my best friend and we do lotsa stupid things together. As time goes on I'll be entering some stories about our misadventures in the bustling metropolis of Fargo and our amazing revelations concerning the meanings of life. :-)
